What is life?

It has always been like this , when someone asks a question from a certain someone about a certain something he or she expects to hear the answer that has been there in his head.Even if he gets the right answer but not the one he had in his mind then it never suffice.So i had been on a stage and called her , then asked her "WHAT LIFE IS?" she answered as usual ,"its a combination of our daily routine activities".Audience admired the answer but for me it didn't suffice.

          From what i can see... this life is a punishment, not in a negative sense but if we think about it ADAM was sent to this world as a punishment.so i conclude "Life is that kind of punishment which most of the humans enjoy and never want it to end"
